The Blade that Calls my Name

by Sara Ruhnke   May 9, 2006

Look at that blade
Just sitting there
I can hear it calling my name
So wrist you best prepare

For you will soon get cut
And you will feel the pain
And that blood
Will drip out like rain

But I must control myself
And not grab that blade
But for some reason
I'm afraid

I do this everyday
It's seems like a routine
I've done it everyday
Sense I was thirteen

My friends don't know
Because I cut where they can't see
Because if they knew what I did
They'd try to comfort me

But nothing will make the pain go away
For I'm been hurt to much
For I like to feel the blades
Cold touch

The after math is the best part though
Because I feel the pain just melt away
That is the reason I do
It every single day

Because when I'm done
My world seems a little better
But one day the pain will be to great
Then I'll write my suicide letter

And say good-bye
To this Hell hole
And give the devil
My twisted up Soul
