The other day you just stopped looking at me with that twinkle in your eye you said that i was a waste of time and that i should be with him maybe he'll see the things in you i don't want anymore i really did love you though as he turned away the whole time i knew he wanted me to take his hand and never let go so i looked at his back and then turned and walked away with a river of tears rolling down my face
