The girl with Various Faces

by Leah   May 9, 2006

She's seen tears without cause,
and children's hearts she tore
you cannot teach her about pain
for she's felt every pain before.

She's seen things that man can't face, and the palace hidden under her eyes, are things you never want to know, so don't analyse her cries.

She's hated herself more then anytihng, and immensely she wishes death near, but death is not to far away, death will find her very last tear.

She's the girl who walks the hopeless road, for you cannot be the frog princess, if you have yet to kiss the toad.

She's the girl who cries at night
for lately, she hasn't been feeling sane, but if she were to fly away, she'd carry the weight of the blame.

She's been locked away
the entirety of her life
she hasn't seen many places
hoping she'll one day be his wife
she's the girl with the various faces.
