Every Tear Tells a Story

by Leah   May 9, 2006

Today she feels quite lost
lost from the light of reality
can't fight the tears that seldom leak, angels are encouraging her insanity.

Today is so filled with sorrow
and her causious tears run free
why she cuts her wrists I know
she feels agony to intense to see.

Today she witnesses
the birth of an angel,
she watches helplessly as it withers
and her body feels the horror she can't, her tender tears
release their shivers.

Today is just another chapter
to add to her life
another chapter in which to perish
from the self torture of the knife.

Today her mascara
will run down her left cheek,
as she remembers
all those times
her tears couldn't leak.

Today she will barter in a desolet place, for if she hides, she won't be confronted by her own face.

She places the knife
gently on her eye
hoping she can kiss
her tears good bye.

Looking within herself
trying to find a sense of glory
this girl with watery eyes
her every tear tells a story.
