Your Words

by Kenzie   May 9, 2006

Here I am,
Once again,
In the same state that I was so long ago.
This Pain is returning,
But this time it's so much worse.
Every thing seemed fine,
Like You actually might have cared,
But I was wrong.
And it Tore me Apart.

This Endless Torment is Breaking my Heart.
Holding on when I should be letting go.
Everything You said running through my head,
Bringing back all the Pain and Confusion.
A Slave to my own Heart,
I should have let You go so long ago,
But I didn't know which would Hurt worse;
Knowing I let You go
Or holding on to You and all the Pain that came with it.
Memories just Kill me now,
Your words Stabbing Everywhere.
Crimson tears Falling freely from their Wounds.
Everything Fading fast.
Everything Fading to Black.
Until all I can see is You,
And the Pain in Your countenance,
In Your eyes,
Strikes a Wound Deeper than all the rest.
