Finding "Someone"

I see it all around me,
swirling and closing in
yet me it never sees
just drifts away on winds

The couples in the halls
remind me of my hopes
to be loved for being me
in smiles and thru mopes

I often dare to dream
of someone that is real
But is he really there
or just something I feel

Is this a losing battle
that cannot be won by some
for this is how it feels
until your someone comes
