Fire Children

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   May 9, 2006

Ashes ashes
Let it burn
Let the smell make stomachs churn
Fire fire
Let it spread
Let it make the living dead
Children children
Let them play
Let the pyros have their way
Matches matches
Let them strike
Let them make sparks when they like
Screaming screaming
Let it rise
It will stop when the fire dies
Flames flames
Let them dance
They leave pyros in a trance
Fire fire
Let it stop
Run away there is a cop
Children children
Let them run
They played with fire and had their fun
Guilty guilty
Let them go
They're too young they didn't know
Idiots idiots
Let them learn
They set the pyros free to burn
Ashes ashes
All around
But not a guilty one to be found
Evil evil
Let it grow
The children are the ones that know
Criminals criminals
All around
But not a guilty one to be found

Thank you sore for being the first person to comment this. :)

A very original poem, to say the least.
By repeating words you made it into a kind of chant, the kind they sing to bewitch a person. Very special poem!

    Take care,

    5/5 Ingrid
