Crown of thorns

by Katelyn McLaughlin   May 10, 2006

Wear your crown of thorns forever
or wear them for a day
put your self righteous body down
in a kneel to pray

twist the words of good intentions
into to wicked spite
then lay your body down to rest
with someone else each night

pull the spear out quickly now
so as to ease the pain
set you sights om martyrdom
yet falling to your shame

yet there you sit on pedestal
gazing to the throng
crying out your holy words
all while singing the devils song

hey can you guys give me some feedback so i know if im even any good at this?
