First Color Lesson

Primary colors I drag
with a paintbrush
over some paper
My first lesson on colors.

I then learn how red
meets with yellow
to make orange.
Then how yellow and blue
meet to make green.
Next I take red and blue
to make some purple.

I now have some new colors
with which to make
a new little picture.

Now I take some white
to make my red into some pink.
Putting white into my blue,
I paint a little sky,
Green and white look like mint,
good enough to taste.
