If only the sky
Would stay blue forever,
If only you and me
Could one day be together.

My world would be perfect
It would be in place
I'd be happy all the time
With a smile on my face.

But only in my dreams
Do you dare hold my hand.
Only in my dreams,
Do you dare understand.

If only you knew about
Half the things I feel
If only you could see how
What I say is real.

My heart would stop to bleed
And would start to beat again.
But only in my dreams
Does my pain come to an end.

But only in my dreams
Do I stop being lonley.
If only you knew.
If only, if only...
