Dearest mom
There is a time in every woman’s life when she understands her mother better than what she cares to admit.
Today, I am admitting that I understand you better now.
How so and why now?
I understand that there is nothing that you would not do for me if its within your power
That there is nothing that you would not protect me from even if it costs you your life
That there is nothing that can make you love me less but plenty that can make you love me more
That there is nothing that I can say or do to ever repay you in the smallest way for everything you have done and continue to do for me.
Today, I understand you as only another mother can.
