A dad hooked on drugs
A mom that just don't care
to this helpless little girl
this life just isn't fair

Born-ed into the world
healthy but alone
no mom does she have
no dad to watch her grow

Sitting happy on the floor
an Angel watches from above
Mommy's in another room
to this child she shows no love

this baby's unaware
of the life she is forced to live
left in her room at night
Jesus awaits beside her crib

Those Angels are her playmates
while shes with her mom and dad
for no attention do they give
no parents does she have

This child's moved from place to place
with her neighbors doing drugs
mamaws heart is being broke
cause all this baby needs is love

Shes growing older every day
and her life has yet to change
mommy still dont care
and daddy's still the same
