Save the sin

She thought she was in love
that nothing could go wrong
he left her in the midst
hoping his pain would stop

night after night he'd watch her
slowly killing herself
beads of blood stained her sheets
he didn't know how to help

he felt as if she didn't care
how much she hurt him
she didn't know he knew
that her arms bled sins

she felt so bad one night
that she went to far
she was bleeding tears all over
from demented self harm

she was lying on the floor
with a stained paper in her hand
explaining everything to him
how she was lost in a dark land

but you see, he would never come home
he would never read that letter
he was trying to move on
but nothing would ever get better

he was lost in her decaying world
he found her on the ground
a girl he loved so much
not breathing, not making a sound

he lay next to her, grabbing her hand
he bled for her, like she bled for him
together they will burn forever
