Love Sung Dead

by Flawed   May 10, 2006

Seeking embrace of her cold eyes
I walked alone in gloomy nights
I reached the grave of my dead wife
Out there, for her, I sat and cried

The darkness there
It spoke no word
The silence stayed
And nothing more

I faintly heard
A sound of bird
But stillness stayed
And shadows were

And every night it stayed the same
I went to her, She never came
My love for her had turned to pain
So harsh sometimes, I go insane

Then darkness there
It turned to grey
The stillness broke
Went far away

I saw with eyes
The shadows flee
Her voice was there
She spoke to me

She whispered words onto my soul
Came close to me and made me whole
She wiped the tears off from my face
Then turned around and walked away

The darkness there
It ripped my heart
I yelled and screamed
And broke apart

My love for shadows
turned to hate
I killed the silence
Blamed my fate

I closed my eyes and wished her back
In instance worth, out from the black
She held my hand and smiled at me
And only that had set me free

The Darkness then
It seemed so calm
For, i\'m with her
She, in my arms

It\'s all I need
And nothing more
To live this dream
Beyond death\'s door
