I wish I could fly from the pain of the past and just be free to live my life. Your imagery is stunning, peaceful, calm, but more realistic than anything.

We all feel like that somedays don't we =) A really nice poem with some amazing imagery, certainly a joy to read. Your use of langauge was excellent and really set the tone of the piece. I loved the repetition of the idea of flight and the way that the first and last stanzas both addressed similar points but in slightly different ways, gave the whole thing a nice rounded feel.
