The Perfect Moment

Feel your hand in his hand, put your eye to his eye- the world stops for a moment, but time still goes by

Even though this feels perfect the moment wont last- a hand slips away, and the eyes move too fast

Everyday a heart breaks because a love pulls away- if only she\'d had the right words to say

Would he stay if she laughed, and spoke out a bit more- did he only leave her because he got bored?

Shes lost in her thoughts and cant find herself- maybe he left her for somebody else

But what she doesnt know, to her surprise- is that all of his friends see pain in his eyes

It hasnt been easy to stand so far back- to watch her walk by and not grasp what he had

A part of each other lies both in their hearts- the heart of each other lies broken apart
