X Awkward Last Words

Been together for far too long?
Has the colour really gone?
Looking for a better life?
Words, the blackened, bloodstained knife

Can we still be best of friends?
Or is this where our friendship ends?
Wasn't I your 'only one'?
Words, the bullet from the gun

Have you ever really cared?
Don't you feel guilt? Are you not scared?
Was our love completely vain?
Words, immense inner pain

Your conscience does not exist
Never stopped at seconds, came back for thirds
Laid into me with bloody fist
Careless, painful, awkward last words

    Well it was very sad, the last stanza's rhyming pattern changed up, and wasn't all in the right flow. but none the less it was a good poem!!!
