The Greatest Friend

Days I felt were non-existent,
Rumors folded between lips,
My face, a w.h.o.r.e,
As there gossip drips,

I cried no tears,
Stood my ground,
Until I felt no more,
And left homeward bound,

I found inside something deep,
A girl I thought shes the one,
And targeted her as a new,
Felt safe and came undone,

Little to my knowledge,
She repeated from ear to ear,
I would've given up,
But refused to cry a tear,

I searched until I found,
Another who I broke up to,
I've always wanted her to know,
That Suzie this is you,

Although it took a time,
It was worth every tick,
And I'm thankful for every tock,
We've built up brick by brick,

And we're stable from the knocks,
But if one were to crumble,
I know we'd help each other up,
And I know we'll never stumble,

I love you Suzie Jean,
And I never want to part,
You are my greatest friend,
