Mommy's little devil :-)

by Chris   May 11, 2006

Here is a simple I love you
From your angel in disguise
Maybe that should be "your devil"
Or maybe both applies

Frustration is a good word
To describe the things I do
From whinning about Bubba
To my constant cry of "Ju"

By your side I always want to be
Your attention I want it all
That's why you can never sit
And don't try to make a call

When I tell you that I'm hungry
You get me in my chair
Is it time to catch a breath
Nope...now there's yogurt in my hair

I know I push the limits
But hey, that is my job
To put your nerves on end
And make that headache throb

Because I'm oh so pretty
I'm allowed to be a brat
Daddy tells me "just like mom"
So Mommy...Thanks for that

You have so much to do all day
And you never get a rest
You haven't had a breakdown
Even though I've tried my best

And when you try to swat my butt
It feels just like a feather
You just don't have it in you Mommy
So let's just stop it all together

I love to go outside with you
So I can run and hide
I'm still a pest sometimes but hey..
At least we're not inside

I get your love no matter what
it shines in every way
And I love Mommy very much
And....HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!
