A Different Good-Bye

by Raychel   May 11, 2006

There once was a girl who dared to be different,
She just wasn't quite the same.
While others learned to be each other,
"Herself" is what she bacame.

This girl didn't follow the assembly line,
That others chose to go through,
She never thought in black-and-white,
Te others never saw the rainbow that was her mind.

Soon she bacame mocked and teased,
By the narrow-minded others.
Until one day she just gave up,
Her life was only filled with bad luck.

She took a bus,
Or was it a plane?
To go to a place,
Where no one was the same.

So now she's sleeping out in the cold,
Thanks to her tormentors she'll never grow old,
Now she's just afraid to die,
Witout saying her different good-bye.

*Dedicated to Lola. We all have some of her in us. Heidi...yes that Lola. She inspired me. :)*
