I watch today turn to Yesterday

by sammie-rae   May 11, 2006

Crimson skies diluted,
With yellows, oranges and purples,
Dots of white both big and small,
All shaped like circles.
I know every day is different,
I know every day is new,
But sometimes it feels the same,
Just like the Yesterday I knew,
They both had a blue sky,
Though one was brighter than the other,
And if you sit and look too,
You'll see that they're the same colour,
I see all the same people,
Just like I did the day before,
They walk by with the same smiles,
Just like they did the day before,
Every day is the same as the rest,
But just one thing makes it new,
Just like everyone is the same,
But just one thing make you, you,
So the crimson sky is diluted,
And as the colours fade away,
I sit and smile and think as,
I watch today turn to Yesterday.
