The Truth

This is one of my shortest poems, I'm not sure if you will understand this, but I wrote this poem just how I felt today, so yeah. It is about a girl that has been in my life.... anyway here you go.

I'm sorry for the way I am,
but I'm alway feeling so depressed,
it's just how you make me feel,
when I'm with you I feel alone.

Everyday you try to get near,
all I do is push you away,
you show me love,
and I show you hate.

The spark in my heart,
just doesn't seem to be there,
the way you talk the way you listen,
just completely rips me apart.

Lust and love is easy to be confused,
my sweet dear remember your past,
then you will surely understand,
what we had just blew away.

There are no words,
that will make you feel better,
I know your hurt,
but think of me through all these years.

I know I have made you cry,
but the pain you feel,
will someday go away,
but our memories will be everlasting.
