Ulysses

by alarian   May 11, 2006

The last waltz found a place
to dissipate in little crushes
but she didn't wait for me
the party went on as I walk home

in need for clinching the deal
girls may whisper when sparks fizzle
secrets are tied to some metaphors
the moon is hope and the sun reveals

when you let the rope burn
and the raindrops fall missing
built an illusionary state
where passion eludes the tears

passion could be a rule
and the ruler the one
who chooses against any risk
Penelope to become his wife
