Veins

Can you feel me?,
Running through your veins,
Can you feel the blood running,
Can you catch it before it stains?

Can you hear me?
Whisper in those ears,
Can you try and stop my voice,
Can you wipe away your tears.

Can you feel me as i slip away,
Can you grab my arm,
Can you pull me back,
Keep me safe from harm?

Can you feel me in your head,
Can you feel me hold you close,
Can you feel me as i fade away,
As my breath grows faint and i choke.

Can you feel me die,
A memory of who I used to be,
I love you the way you are,
Because you made me, me!
