I remember in 6th grade
Feeling so lost, confused, and alone
It was all so different from my elementary years
Where I wasn't so unknown
I remember in 7th grade
Making a new best friend
She's helped me through my problems
Sticking with me till the end
I remember at the beginning of the year
Everyone was so excited to be at the top
But now we get to go to high school
And our reign of the school will stop
I'll always remember the last three years
It's a time I can't possibly forget
So much has happened between me and my friends
Since the day that we all first met
I can't imagine starting a new school
Especially without some of my friends
I dread the ending of 8th grade
Not wanting our friendships to end
I suppose it's time to say farewell
I promise I'll try hard not to cry
As I walk out the door the last thing I'll say is
I'll miss you and goodbye
