I slip into the darkness and get lost behind my eyes
I fall into my dreams
And hide from all the lies.
I recall those sad-toned moments as I lay my head to sleep.
The happiness has faded.
My eyes begin to weep.
The confidence.
Diminished.
My comfort has been torn.
I hide the truth behind a smile. The days become forlorn.
A slight outlook arises when I lay here in the dark.
