The figure

by darkness decends   May 12, 2006

As I move from room to room.
I feel as though I'm in a tome.
Trapped am I, with my tormentor.
Lurking behind from door to door.

A fear of reflection fills my mind.
A horrible fear of what I may find.
As I leave with each room hallow.
It keeps up and does thus follow.

Within a mirror it does stare back.
With only shear force this image does crack.
Evil inside is What it be.
Evil inside waiting to be free.

Hatred of man indulges its soul.
A struggle breaks out for control.
The battle is lost, I must flee.
Strength of mind is the key.

From room to room reflection there be.
On glance at this and it glances at me.
Just one result is simple and clear.
I must kill the man in the mirror.
