I thought I liked him
I thought it was meant to be.
But after talking with his ex,
I realized he's not for me.
Those two belong together.
They really do care.
I saw the love in their eyes,
They are the cutest pair.
Sometimes they fight
Sometimes they even hate.
There really was no place for me,
Who am I to stand in the way of fate?
When they broke up,
She was really torn.
I heard his criticism,
But his lies soon worn.
You could see right through
Whatever he said about her.
Anyone with eyes could see
He loved her for sure.
He is a complete ass hole,
And she's as sweet as can be.
Me and her get along great,
But he's always mean to me.
Despite that, we were friends,
That I can't ignore.
And for some reason,
I always wanted more.
But I now see,
That I must stand back.
These two belong together,
And that's a straight up fact.
Maybe there's someone out there for me.
But only time will be able to tell.
Maybe my first love will come back to me,
For that was the only time I really fell.
