The Hero and his Queen

by Bradley Peter   May 12, 2006

He's big, he's brave, yet he's out of sight
and yet he claims to have a manly might
but when the battle comes, he run away
and the hero lives to run another day

he says he'll fight, for his humble queen
but when battle commences, he can't be seen
he's fear of defeat, has made him flee
he is her hero no more, but is in fact now free

he leaves her side, and will never return
but a loss of a hero, is not her concern
for she will find many fools to fight
until the day she finds, the fool that's right
