I wonder how

Lost with words when I'm looking in your eyes
The light I seen before has long before died
As I wipe you face with my hand
I know you can't barely stand

I wish I knew what to say
But you just seem to stray away
And I know you so well, I know that look
I can see it now it's got you shook

I see you looking at the stars
And I notices you touch your heart
I know what you're thinking now
And I don't understand how

Im just looking at you like never before
And I wonder more and more
I know you made some mistakes
And that what makes your heart ache

I try to make you change
But everything I try you cant arrange
I try and open your heart
But I know it to broken apart

Now looking down I know why
And I start to cry
Looking down at this pool of water in front of me
I realize that I was talking to who I see
And that just happens to be me
