Pretending I don't love him

by sammie-rae   May 13, 2006

I see him by the beach,
But I just turn me head,
Refusing to think of all the,
I love you's he said.

He'll call me twice a week,
Asking me if I miss him,
And I gently hang up the phone,
I won't answer that question.

He's with another girl,
And it hurts me deep inside,
But I won't let him see,
That I have something to hide.

He hurt me continuously for eight months straight,
And he will never admit his sin,
But still it's so incredibly hard for me,
To pretend I don't love him.
