I think its sad that so many of the poems I read here are about people cutting their wrists. I believe that when most people read these poems, their immediate reaction is "how annoying it is". Perhaps this is true to a certain extent, but nevertheless i think this is a problem in our society that needs to be addressed, and made known. That is why you must never stop writing, because Bell's Walk for Kid's Help Phone doesn't do shit. Speak out, make a difference. |

To add to that, I think events like Bell's Walk for Kid's Help Phone are occasions for people who on a regular basis, turn a blind eye to the cuts ont he wrists, to come clean with their conscience; such that, they can go on turning blind eyes, until such a time, where they can again, "feel good", by making donations hoping that a paid organization will wash their conscience clean for them. |
