Always here

Always Here

It happened so quickly, just last night

The tensions grew, as we began to argue

I tried my hardest to make things right,

I cried my heart out just for you.

Just then things went out of control,

Soon we both began to cry rivers of tears

I felt as if my heart was in jail, with no hope of parole;

As I began to think of who would quell your fears.

My mind slowly began to think

As my heart painfully began to tear

Will our friendship slowly sink,

Will our eyes start to glare?

I remembered how I made you smile

And how I wished for us to meet;

I dreamy dreamboats when I made our time worthwhile,

And how I said, honey, you're so sweet

I always made you laugh

You said your cheeks hurt from all the smiling I made you do.

But now it seems as if our friendship was about to be cut in half

Is this what our bond must go through?

All hope seemed lost,

All my dreams began to fade

Losing you is such a big cost;

As Holly told me about you and the blade.

But then you told me of what you went through,

Ditching your boyfriend, and yelling at your mother.

That seemed harsh, but you were never blue,

Every time I talked to you, you never wished for another.

Our tears slowly dried,

The laughs began to return

I cant believe I almost died

Because without you I would burn.

I told you I'm always here,

No matter what the trials are

I would have called you my dear

And probably would have played you a song in my guitar.

I'm so thankful for someone like you

As of now I can see

That we will never be blue

As long as we dream, of a future for me and you!
