Till My Last Tear Falls

If for every tear I cry
A lonely boy found a friend
A broken doll was repaired
A fleeting star crossed the sky...

If for every tear I cry
A dad on the dole found a job
A no-hoper realized there was a hope
Another word of wisdom, at night...

If for every tear I cry
A person in hospital got over
Two people made up with each other
You promised me there would not be more fights...

If for every tear I cry
A sad child found a sweet
Another present on a Christmas tree
Another tear became a smile...

If for every tear I cry
A new flower grew up healthy
A kiss healed all the pain
Someone felt alive again...

If for every tear I cry
An I love you crossed your mind
A sweet warmth stayed by your side
And you hugged me tight...

Then till my last tear falls
I would cry, my love...

    Omgg.. this was amazingg! it is so true.. and heartfelt.. i truly loved it! the metaphors and descriptions you used were beautiful and the ideas that were put into this poem were excellent..

    ^a person gets over what?

    ^should be "healthy"
