Love Will Get You Down

by Jesse Gutierrez   May 14, 2006

I met you in a small town
We ended up walking downtown
6 moths passed by
Our relationship stayed alive
Never left me alone
I bought you so many balloons
You did your hair
Later we went to the fair
That’s when
You told me you love me
I told you I love you
I was happy no longer sad
But me kissed back and made a plan
to be together forever
In this paradise land
I told you I Love You
but you left me in the blue
When I went in that room
Who was that foo?
How could you say you loved me?
I told you I love you
We made a plan
It didn't work
If it was love than
Why where you with that white man?
I guess
Love will get you down
You threw that crown you once had
I met you in a small town
Your hair is brown
BUT THIS LOVE IS GETTING ME DOWN
