The story of a girl

by broken_hearted_girl   May 14, 2006

I saw her sitting there,
Her face so pale,
There was silence,
As the rain fell.

She slowly rose,
And walked towards me,
I began to grow cold,
When she asked, "Can you help me?".

My mouth was open,
But no words were said,
My body started shaking,
When she held out her hand.

I took her small hand,
And said i'd help,
When she gave me the knife,
I could tell how she felt.

"I can not live in a world,
with so many lies,
All the people are fake,
Can you help me die?".

My shaking hand,
Took the knife,
She stared at me,
Then closed her eyes.

That night,
A little girl died,
But after her death,
I realized.

I realized I couldn't live,
The guilt was all but through,
The little girl didn't die alone,
Because that night, I died too.
