Out the window I see your smile.

I awoke last night wondering,
to my surprise I was thinking of you.
I tried to get the idea out of my head,
but my heart just spilled the truth.
I walked around full in thought,
but I just got more confused,
it seemed like every idea I got,
it was a cliche and over used.

I then walked over to the window, to try to think it through.
But as I stared at the sky,
the answer was something new.
It seemed that maybe I was in love,
but I'm sure it's over now.
It's just a little phase I'm on,
to try to remove my frown.
Tears my be coming, rolling down my face,
but this pain is nothing,
it's just another day.
I soon understood why the stars are so,
they are small symbols and signs,
to try and let you know:
When you awake crying at dark,
you can look at the starry sky,
because you'll soon find,
your answer to why.
