Its been so long since you've been gone
thinking of you till the crack of dawn
i never thought that we would part
but you are still here in my heart

i always believed that it would always last
me and you just having a laugh
just sitting there forgetting our cares
or dancing away as the music blares

we used to run along when we were young
then everything changed but we still had our fun
but now you're gone and it cant go back
when you left me my world turned black

even though time has passed
your memory will always last
even as the years go by
all the good times will never die
