River of Tears

A river of tears
flow down the side of my face
there i am standing every year by the ones i love
dying
for me
the river of tears comfort me.
circled around me like a cage of death.
saving me
from the painful feelings i hide
holding me back from who i want to be.
while i cry my river of tears
i do not dare to speak.
i flee from the ones around me
pushing them away.
afraid no one can help me,
for i can help myself.
everyone i know is dying,
so i wonder if it's me who's killing them.
i fear of death
so i cry my rivers of tears to keep me from the pain that never goes away.
