I dont understand why the sky is blue,
I dont understand why the sea has salt,
I dont understand why the grass is green.
I really dont understand why death takes part,
I really dont understand why love takes your heart,
I really dont understand why broken dreams are like steps not taken.
I do understand why the earth was made,
I do understand why night comes before day,
I do understand that in the darkness there is light.
