Noah do me a favor if you could,
Make me an ark out of gopher wood.
This favor of Noah God did ask,
Old Noah was up to the task.
For an 120 years the people made jokes,
Noah and his family put up with the folks.
When it was finished the sky was blue,
In came the animals two by two.
Then when God shut the door,
Down came the rain it began to pour.
It started out as a little stream,
When it got larger people began to scream.
They ran for the hills this was their fate,
For those mocking people it was to late.
When the rain stopped dripping from the sky above,
Noah sent out one of the dove.
It came back with a branch in its beak,
They were on land by the end of the week.
They were on land the water was low,
God made his promise with a rainbow.
No other flood will be like this one,
Thanks to God and his only son.
