Murder

by physco   May 15, 2006

There was once a young girl,
Who wouldn't hurt a thing,
She loved the great out doors,
Especially the spring.

She watched the flowers grow,
Whilst running through the grass,
But little did she know,
This beauty would not last.

One evil winter night,
Her world came falling down,
Her face flooded with tears,
This princess lost her crown.

She couldn't speak to friends,
She couldn't speak to family,
Till that day she couldn't take no more,
And committed murder proudly.

Her Grandma was an alchy,
Her mother was a crack head,
Her daddy he had left her,
Her granddad's ill he'll soon be dead.

But nobody did know,
They all thought she was so happy,
Cos even tho her life got hard,
She still tries to act all jolly.

Her arms were always covered,
By her bright and stripy sleeves,
But she always looks so cheerful,
Or is this only how she seems?

On that winter night,
She murdered her best friend,
The only thing close to her,
She brought it to an end.

Yes on that winter night,
she let all her blood drain,
By murdering her self,
She was now free of her pain.

As the snow fell down,
Silently but deep,
On that winters night,
My life,
I could not keep.

Something a touch different. Perhaps not the best or most original but rather well for something a little strange with content. The ending just didn't go with the rest yet it did have great flow and such.

This poem right here is so real it seems as if it happened for real and it feels like a movie based on a true story but keep writing things like this and you will go some where in life trust me on that

This is good. it has good structure, and although the rhythm changes slightly towards the end, the pace slow and so the words have more impact. i liked the imagery you used, it created a real feeling within the poem. well done! keep it up!
