You're going on holiday soon,
And you're leaving me behind,
And i know for sure,
It won't be me who's on your mind,

You'll be chasing all the ladies,
Trying to lure them to your bed,
And I'll be back home,
Thinking of all the things you've said,

Like how you'd never hurt me,
Never cheat on me or lie,
Like how you'd always be there for me,
And never make me cry,

But these are just lies,
I know they are,
I know deep in my heart,
But the true lies begin when we are apart,

I love you more than you'll ever know,
But i can't trust a word you say,
And i know a relationship shouldn't be built on this,
So maybe we should call it a day,

I keep thinking we should end,
The next time I'll say no,
But when i look into your eyes,
I just think one more go,

But how many chances do i give you,
How many times will you break my heart,
Before i finally admit to myself,
We were doomed from the start,

But i no today is not the day,
The lies I'll sweep under the rug,
And then I'll come and find you,
And give you a great big hug,

But i know in the future,
The lies will come to light,
And thats when i will have to prepare myself,
