Take me out of this haven
Of this neverending pain
Let me out of this hell hold
That doesn't seem to let me out
Take me away to somewhere
Where past does not partake in future
To a place where nothing matters
But just how to pull through
Take me through the path
Of healing and of nuture
A path where I can stay true
To what my lay ahead.
Take me out to the world
And show me all its wonders
Not of what I've seen all my life
Or anything of that matter
I want to see, learn, and hear
Taste, smell, and feel
I want to know what its like
To be free, just free.
Of everything out there
I just want to see
That you know what I am
You except me for who and what
I can really be.
And that I have to go, go away,
To somewhere I belong
A place where only I grow
Into what I've been meaning to show
Because you know my pain
You know what my past is
But if you forget it all
And put in whats right
It all seems to fit together.
I don't care how long it takes
Or what might be in the way
All I care is if I get there,
Somehow, Someday.
