To a special teacher

Beautiful teacher,
My second mother.
I've always loved you,
More than no other.

Why is your hair white?
And why is your face pale?
Your hands are so cold,
Your coffin as hard as hale.

I once looked into your eyes,
And they told me you cared,
But now they are closed,
How do I know if it's still there?

I stay thinking all the time,
And I look up at the sky.
The only thing I can come up with
is "God, why?"

There is no one in the world
that can understand how I feel.
One thing I look forward to though,
Is the curing of wounds that will never really heal.

I've had many dreams
And you've been in some.
Why don't you tell me you care?
To me you are yet not gone.

I'll wait in every dream,
In every song I play.
You'll always be in my heart,
I know "I love you" will come some day.

Hi my name is Sarah, I also have a teacher that is like a second mom, that I love. Did you ever tell your teacher you love her? I'm trying to get the courage now to tell her I love her. Should I?
