The Key

by Chelsea   May 16, 2006

She worries for whats next, trying to keep calm,
how can she be happy when everyones scared, even her mom,
she thinks things can can better, but shes thought of that before,
she thought that she could be free, but she got faced with another door,
she stood there without a key crying to herself,
how could things put her in this position? she wants someone to help;
she needs this door to open, and if it doesn't then there is where she will stay,
every second of every minute of every hour of every day.
if things could just get better...she wouldn't feel this way,
she needs the key to open the door to freedom, shes waiting every day;
she needs to be helped but anyone at all,
she's beginning to forget how to stand, please don't let her crawl;
tears are taking over now, she's hoping she won't drown,
but anyone who's ever cared, has always let her down,
maybe just maybe she will be found, by someone who cares,
by someone who can help her put her two feet back on the ground;
the only love she's ever had, is way beyond her reach,
she needs him more then life itself, but we know how a lot of her dream have turned out,
but she loves him so she'll even wait, even if theres chances she has to take;
she's learned that when you love someone, never let it go,
they may love you back, you really never know,
but that's the whole fun part of love, not knowing what is next,
but first she'll have to find the key, she'll have to take a test,
now she's spinning around in circles, she's running out of breath,
she'll wait for someone to save her, until the day of her death.
