They\'ll Never Know

by Chelsea   May 16, 2006

Shhhhh, don't speak tonight,
because sitting in this silence makes everything feel right.
If you just look into my eyes, you'll faintly start to see,
there's a little spark that you lighten in me.
We don't have to talk,
no that won't do it at all,
somethings are best un-known,
just promise we won't fall,
falling apart is scarey,
I will admit that's my worst fear,
starting to love someone to much,
and then not being able to have them near,
it's like losing your best friend,
but that won't happen tonight,
because something in your smile,
promises me that we'll be alright.
Friends is what we are,
and friends we shall stay,
you are in love with her,
and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'm one who is in love with love,
and I'm never the one love is thinking of,
but if I was I'd be a bit scared,
knowing that something might slightly care.
Someone like me believes in someone like you,
to know that yes you won't hurt me,
like some people do.
We're just friends, but in some people's eyes,
we're more then that,
and I'm not saying that's a lie.
But one thing before you go,
one little thing just one,
tell me if you knew this was going to happen,
before it even begun.
Give me a hug and promise it'll be ok,
these people watching us, they won't go away.
This isn't some movie,
this isn't any show,
but things we will share,
no one will ever know.
