When the phone rang,
i was eating, watching instant star
in the family room.
it was a warm summer night,
my mom\'s eyes suddenly turned
into two big ballons.
and the running of my
brother to see what was
wrong with my mom.
my mom telling us to get our shoes on.
she grabbed the key off the kitchen counter
and flew to the hospital
to kind my dad lying in the hospital bed.
i was scared, nervous,
and didn\'t kno what to think.
my brother was crying and so was i.
all my family was there,
asking if i was okay.
i didn\'t know what even happend,
so all i could do was cry
and only hope everything was going to be okay.
