A Burning Angel

by Empty Space   May 16, 2006

I keep seeing a man,
A tall man,
A dark man,
The man of my imagination,
Crystallized now with the pain inside.

So dark, the heart of men,
Evil tranquility, beats through,
Like the orchestra of silence,
Craving, something,
I do not understand.

He takes a step,
No, two,
With only one thing in mind,
The ending of me.

A spider-web of all his lies,
A gathering of rocks, are his heart,
Burning halo's of forgotten angels,
reflected in is eyes.
A truly evil man, he his.

No, too close now,
Turn around!
The orchestra pays no heed.

Show me who you are,
And I will give myself,
To you, and your kind.
Minions of the devil.

A mirror...
Shows me what I have feared the most,
My eyes burn as I acknowledge it,
Horrid ttruthsand twisted lies!
It's

.....

Me....

Oh, mother..where art thou now?

    -Craving, something,
    I do not understand.

Hey, I’m loving this. Most of us crave for something we do not know.

    -Oh, mother..where art thou now?
Just a few blocks away! Real mothers, whoever they be, are like that.
Our own self and the lies…quite an interesting topic and you had written this all very well.

    Take care,
    Marjan
