A mans best friend is his dog,
Well mine really was.
Those big brown eyes,
The happy wagging tail,
The pathetic cry for love.
The little things you did,
The way you made it better,
With just one kiss.
The smile on your face,
Whenever we spoke to you,
Or tickled your ears and belly.
You listened without casting doubt,
You got me through the bad times
Now your gone and it’s the worst time.
You helped me the last two years,
Crying into your fur without a complaint,
I owe you so much.
Thank you for the best 9 years of my life,
You were truly one in a million,
The house seems so empty without you.
You were my best friend,
And you will stay that way,
For the rest of my life.
This is just a small tribute,
To the one with such a big heart,
